Where did you (Krystyna) and Juan go to school? 

We both graduated from Summit High School in Bend, OR. and then went to Shasta College for a short while.

How long have you been together? 

We have been together since 2005, married in 2009.

What made you interested in buying D&L Motorsports? 

Juan has always had a goal of owning his own shop. We had tried to previously buy another shop, but it just didn't work out. We then met Brian (previous owner) and knew that this was it and everything just fell together.

How long have you owned D&L? 

Since Feb 1st 2020.

How long has Juan been a mechanic? 

10 Years, Martin about 35 years or so.

What is your favorite part about operating an auto shop? 

Meeting new people everyday and helping people get back on the road, educating people on car maintenance and of course getting to work with my family everyday.

What are your goals for the future? 

We want to have the reputation of one of the most dependable, quality, hardworking and honest shops in the Northstate. 

We also want to be the #1 stop for anybody with a VW, Audi, BMW or Porsche. Our guys are THE BEST around for these makes and I want everyone to feel the same way I do about our techs/shop. 

We would also like to expand in the future with possibly more techs and be able to specialize in more fields.

What vehicles do you specialize in?

So technically we specialize in Volkswagen, Audi and BMW. We also have a lot of experience in Porsche, but technically don't specialize in it per se. We can also provide services for most other makes, Domestics and Asians included.

How long have you lived in Redding, where and how long did you live before? 

I [Krystyna] was born in Redding and moved to Bend in 2005 and moved back to Redding in 2009 due to the state of the economy. 

Juan was born in Mexico, then moved to Huntington Beach in 1991 until about 1999/2000, when he moved to Bend, OR (where we met). Then in 2009 we both moved to Redding, CA.
